Steps respects your privacy. This app is designed to work entirely on your device and does not collect or transmit personal data.
Steps uses Apple HealthKit to read your daily step count. This data is used only to determine whether you have reached your step goal.
Steps does not store, transmit, or share health data outside of your device.
Health data is never sent to any server.
Steps uses Apple's Screen Time APIs (FamilyControls and ManagedSettings) to allow users to voluntarily restrict selected apps if they do not reach their step goal before the deadline.
The user chooses which apps are restricted.
All app settings are stored locally on your device, including:
• Selected apps to block
• Daily deadlines
• Streak data
• Emergency unblock usage
No data is uploaded to external servers.
Steps does not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking services.
